About Middle Tennessee Z Club

A community built on a shared passion for Nissan's legendary Z cars. From the classic 240Z to the modern Z, we celebrate the spirit of driving.

Our Story

Middle Tennessee Z Club was born from a simple idea: bring together people who share an unshakeable passion for Nissan Z cars. What started as informal meetups at local car shows grew into a thriving community of enthusiasts across the region.

Whether you're driving a pristine garage queen or a project car that's more primer than paint, you belong here. We believe that the Z spirit isn't about having the most expensive build—it's about the love of driving and the community that comes with it.

Today, our mission is to be the go-to resource for Z owners everywhere. Through detailed guides, honest reviews, and practical maintenance tips, we help enthusiasts get the most out of their Z cars.

The Z Philosophy

When Yutaka Katayama, affectionately known as "Mr. K," brought the Datsun 240Z to America in 1970, he had a vision: an affordable sports car that could compete with European exotics at a fraction of the price.

That philosophy hasn't changed in over 50 years. The Z has always been about delivering pure driving enjoyment without requiring a trust fund. It's an honest car—front engine, rear-wheel drive, two seats, and nothing you don't need.

Every generation of Z has stayed true to this formula. Whether it's the raw analog feel of a 350Z or the tech-laden refinement of the new Z, the core promise remains: real sports car performance for real enthusiasts.

"We don't want to make a car that's just for show. We want to make a car that's exciting to drive."

— Yutaka Katayama, "Mr. K"
